This role presents an exciting opportunity for an accounting specialist who wants to make an immediate impact. You will need good accounting qualifications, analytical skills, excellent computer literacy and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Duties:

Provide accurate, timely financial data to individuals across all levels of the organization.

This department maintains, reconciles, and collects vendor promotional and pricing programs for our customers, and vendor Spiff programs for the company?s sales representatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

?Perform maintenance relating to order line discount promotions to include gathering necessary vendor program information, preparing price matrix, setting up promotion plan in system; disseminating appropriate plan information to divisions setting up cost credit plan; and creating and copying price contracts.

?Analyze rebates and programs to provide insight on how they can be tracked within our system.

?Perform customer maintenance.

?Assist the billing, reconciliation and reimbursement of all pricing, and/or rebate programs.

?Assist management in analyzing their business to improve operating and financial performance.

?Responsible for testing and implementing the upgrades or rebates and programs in Vistex.

?Assist with cross-training functions within the department.

?Assists accounting in the preparation of monthly management reporting.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

?Strong verbal and written communication skills

?Strong interpersonal skills ? ability to function in a team environment

?Financial and business exposure to accounting information systems a plus

?Computer skills, Office Excel, Outlook, ERP systems such as SAP

?Strong analytical and problem solving skills

?Financial and business background
