Aerospace Manufacturing Center (AMC) location in Westminster, CO,
we develop and manufacture state of the art tactical technologies
including low profile antennas, electronic warfare platforms,
electro-optical laser imaging, and phased arrays. Technological
developments are driving rapid expansion of our manufacturing
capabilities to support customer demands. If you'd like to join our

The role is hands-on, technically challenging, and allows you to
contribute to impactful projects with exciting missions. Working
alongside highly skilled people including planners, engineers and
technicians where there is space to learn and grow. This position
will support the Westminster manufacturing shops in scheduling
hardware for manufacturing operations. You'll be an important and
integral part of the team driving operational excellence.This
position is intended to provide operations for the Paint Shop. The
primary assignment will be in the Paint Shop; however,
cross-training and flexing to the other work centers will be a core
responsibility of this position.The Operations Strategic
Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient
business and program execution - from strategic capital
investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain,
to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch
facilities management.What You'll Do:
- Work with chemicals, solvents, acids, and bases.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and engineer drawings
to determine masking and painting requirements.
- Duties include, but not limited to, surface preparation, paint
preparation, paint application, detailed masking, and operation of
paint equipment and ovens.
- Work area organization, maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Ensure full compliance to industry, environmental, health and
safety standards.
- Help investigate new tools, equipment, and advanced
manufacturing techniques to lead the operations into the
future.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and other documents for
each work center to ensure operational excellence.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement
effective and efficient processes.
- Support other Manufacturing Shops and Service Centers
including, but not limited to: Paint Shop, Printed Circuit Work
Center and Adhesive Cutting Lab.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within
the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic
Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with
others in order to maintain a positive and productive work
environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work
location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and
other possible non-company locations may be required.Working
Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory,
cleanroom, production floor, or machine shop. Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 or more years of
related experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's,
may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be
from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an
agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department
of Education.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and
build documentation for aerospace hardware and use electronic
engineering and production databases. Must be able to organize and
document various data inputs.
- Ability to pass in-house certifications including personal
protective equipment, hazardous waste, hazard communication, crane,
and cleanroom practices.
- Ability to work in a team environment with engineers,
assemblers, technicians, customers and auditors.
- Ability to use Microsoft Windows operating system, including
Excel, Outlook and Word. A DoD Interim Secret clearance will be
required to start work and required to be maintained to continue
work. Higher level clearance or access with Polygraph is not
required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant
must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program
requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to
maintain the applicable clearance/access.Preferred Education,

- Previous experience working on delicate or critical hardware
and in cleanrooms or clean benches.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary
Range: $45320.000 - $72490.000Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
