System Administrator - Contract to Hire
Summary: ConsultNet is looking for a System Administrator to support a client on a contract assignment in Denver, Colorado. The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining the company's server, networking, and IT infrastructure under the Director of IT. Key duties include ensuring hardware and software reliability, monitoring systems, addressing issues, and collaborating on solutions. The role also involves documenting processes and providing end-user support as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain software and hardware systems.
• Transport computer equipment.
• Configure and deploy desktops and laptops.
• Install and upgrade servers and desktops.
• Support copying, scanning, and cost recovery systems.
• Manage networking and server infrastructure.
• Oversee data backup systems and hardware inventory.
• Create and maintain documentation of systems and processes.
• Administer mobility hardware management software.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring confidentiality.
• Collaborate with team members and ensure coverage during absences.
• Travel to remote offices as needed and perform after-hours maintenance.
  Qualifications:
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Language Ability: Read and interpret documents; draft reports and communicate effectively.
  • Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and interpret diverse instructions.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in navigating multiple systems like Cisco, Meraki, Net App, Palo Alto, Microsoft 365, AWS, Mimecast, Okta.
