Ground Systems Planning/Scheduling Software Engineer role, you will
perform planning and scheduling but also design, develop, and test
Java code in a Linux, Agile, DevOps environment. We are at the
forefront of aerospace and defense technology. Our Satellite Ground
Systems Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring communication,
surveillance, and defense capabilities through cutting-edge

requirement, this is an onsite position in our Aurora, CO
office.What You Will Do
- Plan/schedule tasks and also design, develop, and maintain
advanced software applications for our Satellite Ground
Systems.
- Work in close collaboration with systems engineers, hardware
designers, and other software engineers to deliver reliable and
high-performance software solutions.
- Design, implement, and test Java-based applications and
software components for satellite ground systems.
- Work in a systems Model Based Systems Engineering Architecture
(MBSE) role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software
requirements and specifications.
- Work with previously written code and make modifications as
necessary.
- Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and
system integration activities.
- Contribute to the completion of program and project milestones
under the specific guidance of their immediate supervisor.
- Follow established Software processes and procedures,
development, documentation and maintenance/management of operations
concepts, requirements (system, element, segment level), external
and internal interfaces, and other software engineering work
products/artifacts.What You Will Learn

technology to drive innovation.Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering
or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant
experience.
- Software development experience using Java.
- Software architecture and algorithm development
experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security
clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is
required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearance.Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience working the planning and scheduling of satellites
using ground systems
- Experience working external interface development and
integration efforts, algorithm design, display designs, and working
both front end and back-end software products.
- Experience in systems engineering related to Model Based
Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architecture
- Experience with secure coding standards
- Experience with software automated test tools such as Eggplant
or Cucumber (or equivalent)
- Agile software development experience.
- Experience using the Atlassian tool suite.
- Software development technical leadership experience.
- Superb interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of inter-software messaging busses and software

- We Are RTX The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD -
246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the
