IT Application Support Analyst – Contract to Hire – Denver, CO
Our premier client is a midsize independent oil and natural gas exploration company located in Downtown Denver.  This client has contracted MODIS to assist in their search for an IT Application Analyst with experience in the Oil & Gas industry.  This job is Contract to Hire, with an expected contract period of 6 months or less.  If you’re an Application Support Analyst with Oil & Gas experience please see the job requirements below.  
Job Title:  IT Application Support Analyst
Location:  Downtown Denver
Essential Job Duties:
• Resolve end user issues and provide second and third level application support
• Help manage the lifecycle of supported applications from implementation to retirement
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to support application lifecycles
• Work with other IT groups and serve as a liaison for business partners and stakeholders
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in application support providing Tier II and III support
• Experience supporting end users of Oil & Gas applications
• Experience supporting at least one of the following applications:
o Enertia Accounting
o Excalibur Land
o SigmaFlow
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports or SSRS
• Strong technical skills with SQL Server, SQL Scripting, ODBC and Windows 7
