Job Description:

Northern Colorado company looking for a strong Network Operations Technician:

This position is for night shift. Individual will work Wednesday through Saturday morning, and every other Tuesday evening.

Maintains good working relationships and cooperates actively with superiors and other company and outside associates to ensure that the objectives of the company are met.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for Data Center monitoring, maintenance and administration. This is a third shift position.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

?Provides timely and accurate monitoring and communications of the Data Center environment to our customers and the decision makers.

?Performs tasks and routines essential to Data Center operations, including records and documentation maintenance, system and incident resolution, and normal computer / server administration.

?Demonstrates the flexibility and capability to respond to constantly changing technical environment and departmental needs.

?Works to enhance and improve technical skills, demonstrated in part by industry technical certifications and trainings.

?Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures.

?Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS:

?Basic to intermediate networking and computer skills.

?Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

?Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

?Strong attention to detail.

?Ability to change and adapt to changing schedules and technical needs.

?Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time.

?Ability to work in a team environment.

EXPERIENCE:

?6+ months experience in a technical support or computer / network administration position (IT, IS, CIS).

EDUCATION:

?Associates degree or equivalent combination and/or experience in related field.

?Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+.

?Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or other industry standard certifications or technical trainings a plus.
