Job Description:

USPI Lakewood Endoscopy Center seeks motivated GI Tech PRN. Join a fast-paced ASC environment committed to quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Assist in equipment care, maintenance, and cleaning according to manufacturer guidelines.
  
• Perform equipment safety checks to ensure proper function.
  
• Provide assistance to nurses and physicians during procedures.
  
• Maintain stocked rooms and restock supplies as needed.
  
• Transport patients and equipment using proper body mechanics.
  
• Maintain organized files and documents.
  
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
  
• Participate in activities promoting professional growth and behavior.
  
• Follow OSHA and other standards for protection against bloodborne pathogens.
  
• Use good body mechanics and aseptic technique.
  
• Assist with patient monitor placement.
  
• Mentor new technicians.
  
• Maintain the physical environment of the Center.
  
• Communicate with equipment repair and Charge Nurse regarding workflow.
  
• Maintain professionalism within the Center and community.
  
• Follow employee health and personnel policies.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

    Pay: $19-$24 / hour
    
    Required Skills:
    • 
      
    • Hand-eye coordination for manual dexterity.
      
    • Walking, bending, turning, and lifting agility.
      
    • Ability to maintain HIPPA standards and confidentiality.
      
    • Works effectively with various people.
      
    • Meets State, CMS, and AAAHC requirements.
      
      Required Experience: One year experience as a GI tech preferred.
