Job Description:

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for a full time position. We are a family oriented 6 doctor small animal practice, working with cats and dogs. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, be able to anticipate doctor's needs, able to work with a variety of personalities, and the ability to adapt. We are willing to train the right person. Job responsibilities will include kennel work, cleaning, restraint, x-rays, venipuncture, lab work, IVC placement, anesthetic induction and monitoring, and dental prophylaxis. Skills we are looking for in candidate are: Animal restraint, Anesthesia monitoring, client education, fluid therapy, injection administration, anal gland expression, nail trimming, microchipping, Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for at least 1 year, venipuncture, Iv catherization, dental prophylaxis, and kennel duties.
