Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Sourcing to lead their
sourcing team and develop long-term sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Category Managers to foster a
collaborative environment
Develop and implement sourcing and merchandising strategies aligned
with business goals
Analyze key SKU metrics and stay informed of food and beverage
trends to enhance product offerings
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in food and grocery sourcing, preferably in
eCommerce
Proven success in leading and managing a team of category or
sourcing professionals
Strong knowledge of private label development and sourcing
processes
Expertise in vendor negotiation and relationship management
Analytical mindset to make data-driven decisions and track
performance
