Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Oversee all restaurant operations, making key decisions that
impact guest service and business success.
- Lead and motivate the team to meet business goals, maintain a
positive work environment, and deliver top-tier service.
- Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory
control, and quality assurance.
- Ensure adherence to security, safety, and sanitation
standards.
Guest Experience:
- Maintain a welcoming, customer-focused environment, ensuring
guest satisfaction through direct engagement and issue
resolution.
Personnel, Training & Development:
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to uphold operational
standards and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Coach, provide feedback, and redirect/recognize as
needed.
- Conduct orientation and ensure new employees align with OTL's
philosophy and service standards.
Financial Management:
- Work to control costs, optimize profitability, and manage
budgets effectively.
- Ensure financial accuracy in reporting and payroll while
adhering to company policies.
Food Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety
regulations.
- Maintain a professional image by enforcing cleanliness and
uniform standards, as well as compliance with ServSafe
guidelines.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor supply levels, manage inventory, and minimize
waste.
Community Involvement:
- Foster a strong presence in the local community, actively
participating in initiatives that benefit the areas we serve.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar
leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- High school diploma required; degree in hospitality or related
field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant management software (e.g., POS
systems), food safety, and industry trends. Toast POS knowledge is
a plus.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and customer service
skills.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as
needed.
- ServSafe Manager & TIPS certified, with a valid driver's
license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
