Pilatus is hiring a Director Aircraft Seating to join our team
in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for
overseeing and managing the daily operations at our
state-of-the-art seating shop at Pilatus' U.S. Completion Center. A
successful person in this position will have advanced knowledge of
aircraft seat assembly and upholstery processes along with strong
leadership abilities to ensure the highest quality standards are
met while adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best

Broomfield, USAWhat you do
- Plans and coordinates department activities for the seating
program at Pilatus' U.S. Completion Center
- Provides strong leadership and direction to the aircraft
seating team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and
continuous improvement
- Provides department capacity planning, ensuring personnel
requirements, material, facility, tooling, and equipment needs are
met
- Manages department operations to achieve all quality, cost, and
delivery commitments
- Manages staffing levels and ensures adherence to budgets and
production schedule
- Establishes department KPI's and produces monthly department
reporting
- Advances the apprenticeship program and ensures apprentices
receive effective instruction, structured on-the-job training, and
periodic progress reviews
- Responsible for coordinating seating program between U.S.
operations and our Swiss parent company
- Ensures team members are in compliance with internal policies,
procedures, and quality standards
- Evaluates staff performance and provides effective training and
feedback
- Performs timely reconciliation of work orders
- Interfaces with key vendors to support production
requirements
- Establishes individual and department goals, monitors progress
to accomplish organization objectives
- Maintains effective working relationships with management,
staff, and other departments
- Assists with developing annual department budget and goalsWhat
you bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of technical
training and work experience in aviation field
- 5 years of aircraft seat upholstery design and trimming
experience
- 2 years of management or supervisory experience
- Previous work history in an FAA certificated repair station
preferred
- Proven track record of driving process improvement and
operational efficiency
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and
motivate teams to achieve excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders,
customers, and regulatory agencies
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office software
including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Must qualify as a U.S. person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15What
