responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable,
Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists
of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program
offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines
participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception
to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the
following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and
Supportability. What You Will Do: Raytheon - an RTX Company is
looking for an experienced Multi-Discipline Engineer with a
Technical Writing skill set to join our Life Cycle Engineering team
to enhance and enable our customer's user experience. Your skills
will include experience researching, analyzing and translating
technical information into government technical orders, technical
manuals and other documents for an audience of both non-technical
and technical users. Additional responsibilities include: Frequent
interface with various engineering functions, technical disciplines
and end-users to document standard operating procedures. Obtain and
analyze technical data or engineering source data utilized for
product development. Develop technical materials for use in
training, operation and system maintenance of Customer equipment
using established Customer standards and guidelines. Self-directed
and also provides guidance to team members on development of
multiple publication products. Prepare product outlines and
estimates to support product development and planning.
Accountability for the cost, quality and timely delivery of all
work assignments. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access
Program (SAP) access. This position is posted as ONSITE and based
at our Aurora CO location and will require periodic work from other
locations in Colorado. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically
Requires: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant technical writing or
documentation or development of training materials in a military or
civilian environment. An advanced degree may account for additional
years of experience as required for this position. Experience
writing technical manuals in a military or civilian environment.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security
clearance with SCI is required prior to start date. U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience in TO
00-5-3, USAF Technical Order Life Cycle Management, TO 00-5-1, USAF
Technical Order System, TM 86-01Q, Air Force Technical Manual
Contract Requirements, ATA-2200, Military Specifications and/or
S1000D documentation. Understand and comprehend system operation
from typical engineering documentation (schematics, mechanical
drawings, software specifications, hardware interface
specifications, and equipment specifications). Experience
maintaining, using, or designing satellite ground station
equipment. Experience in Operator Level, Intermediate Level and/or
Depot Level maintenance documentation. Proven ability to quickly
learn and understand complex subject matter. Experience in working
with engineers to improve user experience (ex: design, UI), refine
content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support
content. Knowledge of Military Writing Specifications. What We

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work

employees, as they are essential to the development of our

LI-ONSITE The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000
USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the
role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work
experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired
