Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounting Manager, preferably
located in Chicago, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including sales tax, accounts
payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial
reporting
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end
financial statements while ensuring compliance with financial
regulations
Develop and monitor the annual corporate budget and financial
re-forecasts, providing variance analysis and cash flow
management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
Minimum of 6-8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2
years in a senior-level role
Experience with Avalara (Sales & Use Tax) and third-party credit
card processing firms
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with demonstrated business
intelligence acumen
